Hotels in Medway

There are a vast number of hotels in Medway that will be suited to a variety of traveller. From business trips to luxury breaks and sightseeing, Medway has some great places for you to choose from.

Chatham

Chatham alone is host to a number of hotels, which are both modern and traditional.

To begin with there’s the Ramanda Encore Hotel, which treasures its view of the river. It also offers a restaurant, bar and free car parking.

Another modern hotel in the area is the Ship and Trades, which looks out towards the marina. The nautical themed hotel takes pride in a restaurant and open fireplaces.

Perhaps you have something a little more traditional in mind. Bridgewood Manor QHotels is a four star hotel with a country house feel. It has an inner courtyard, bar and restaurant complete with a number of open fires. And with 100 rooms the hotel is sure to be a hotspot.

There’s also a family run hotel in Chatham called St George Hotel, having been under the same family for over 40 years it has the personal touch and has a number of function rooms which are frequently used for weddings and parties.

Rochester

Moving towards Rochester there’s the Holiday Inn. Being just a few minutes drive from both the M2 and M20. This hotel provides quick and easy routes to a number of different places around Rochester, including the Castle, Cathedral and High Street. This hotel boasts an indoor heated pool, a spa and room service.

Being a historic town Rochester is a place for Dickensian tales and The Kings Head Hotel may be just what you are looking for. This hotel is relatively small with only 12 rooms, but has many historic elements, with the origins of the building dating back to 1656.

Medway is home to a number of Premier inns; there’s one in Rochester, on the riverfront, another is in Gillingham/Rainham and another at Gillingham Business Park, which claims to be ideal for business stays.

Gillingham

Other hotels in Gillingham include the Balmoral Guesthouse, which was refurbished in 2008 with all the modern conveniences and the King Charles Hotel; a three star establishment that offers a range of events and special offers.

So whatever you’re looking for, Medway is bound to have the right place for you to stay and explore the local area.

There is a selection of hotels in Medway for you to choose from and they vary in style and price. Some of the more popular ones include the St George Hotel on New Road in Chatham, the King Charles hotel on Brompton Road in Gillingham and Ramada Encore in the Chatham Dockyard.
