Farmers’ Markets in Medway
The only farmers’ market that we are aware of which takes place in Medway is the one which takes place on Blue Boar Lane Car Park in Rochester on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 9am to 1pm. The first one in 2018 will take place on Sunday 15th July.
What is a Farmers’ Market?
The original intention of a farmers’ market is for farmers to take their products to a market and sell them directly to the consumer. This allows farmers to make more of a profit and for consumers to get products for a cheaper price as the farmers do not often have to travel far to the market and the fees associated with selling their products in other ways are not needed.
What Can I Buy at a Farmers’ Market?
